I have researched for 3 years for a flat-screen LCD. In those 3 years I have found that Samsung was the most highly recommended brand for LCD. My cousin worked for Circuit City and studied about and watched all of their TVs and recommended this TV above all of the others (this was before the LED technology was available). Finally, the price was right and I purchased it. I am not one bit disappointed. I have watched almost every action movie I own and I've only had it for 4 days. If you want excellent theater sound, you have to get a surround sound system (I already have one), but that is true with any TV. It's amazing and I don't even have a blue-ray or hdmi cable attached and it still blows me away. Get more detail about Samsung LN40B630 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color.
