About 8-10 foot from where we view. We also purchased a blu-ray player to watch movies and the clairity is "Wow".Samsung has the best bang for the buck if you want a great Television. Purchased it on black Friday for 799.00 from Amazon.com. It came free shipping and was free of any damage.
